Common Questions
What if I don't have a 3D file yet?
No problem. Send a photo, sketch, drawing or the physical part and we'll design it for you. We do CAD modeling, 3D scanning and reverse engineering in house. Start with a project request instead of the instant quoter.
Why won't my file upload or price?
Usually the model has open edges, is larger than our build volume, or is in an unsupported format. Send it over and we'll check it, repair it if needed, and quote it manually.
How accurate is the instant price?
Our instant pricing is currently being refined and should be used as an estimate. Final pricing may vary depending on the model, material, print requirements, and other factors. If you have any questions about your quote or would like us to review your project, please email info@rtp3d.com
Can you do large batches or production runs?
Yes. We run a fleet of 14+ professional printers and handle everything from a single replacement part to short run and full production orders. For larger quantities, contact us for volume pricing.
Do you offer finishing, assembly or post-processing?
We do. Sanding, smoothing, painting, inserts, multi-part assembly, plus laser engraving and UV printing on finished parts. Mention what you need when you order and we'll take care of it.
Who owns the files I upload?
You do. Your files are used only to produce your order and are never shared or resold.
Instant quote not covering your project?
Custom design, reverse engineering, oversized parts, unusual materials or bulk pricing. Tell us what you need and we'll quote it personally.
